Help us bring Clara to Google Play

Clara is a free, private AI assistant that runs on your own PC, with an Android app to talk to her. To publish the app on Google Play, we need a small group of testers to use the test version for two weeks. Want in?

Opens our Google Group: tap Join group, using the Google account on your phone. Free, and you can leave any time. Trouble joining? Email clara@thewiderlens.info.

1What you'll need

• An Android phone (Android 9 or newer) with a Google account
• Ideally a Linux PC with an NVIDIA graphics card (12 GB of memory or more) to run Clara on. No such PC? You can still help: install the test app and tell us what you think of it.

2How it works

1. Join the Google Group with the button above (tap Join group). Use the Google account that's on your phone: Google Play uses the group to know who's a tester.
2. We email the group the Google Play test link as soon as the test opens. Open it on your phone and tap Become a tester.
3. Install Clara from Google Play and, if you have the PC, set it up with the install guide.
4. Stay in the test for at least 14 days (just keep the app installed) and tell us what works and what doesn't.
